Campaign Story

My name is Eileen and my husband, Eric and I have been trying to have another baby for a year and a half with no success. We previously had a son and a daughter and thought our family was complete. However, in November of 2022, our daughter died of bacterial meningitis at almost 2 years old. Now my son who is 6 misses his sister so much and isn’t ok with not having a sibling. He begs us frequently to have a baby. We also feel like having a baby would help us with those dreams that will never be fulfilled because Franny was gone too soon. We have been partially approved for IVF, but can’t handle the costs of things that are not covered. Eric and I are both teachers and struggle to afford our daily life and just want to continue our family and heal. Thank you.
